PRESENTING ANNIE SEALEY

Synonymous with the cheeky character from the musical, Annie is vivacious, bubbly and approachable. But underneath is a driven young woman whose enthusiasm for life is really infectious. Making the choice to introduce Annie to our stable for our new concept Latin Dance Workout was easiest.

"We wanted someone with character, fun loving and motivating. This concept isn't about traditional workouts - its meant to be fun so that you dont really notice the effort you are putting in until you see how effective it is!" says Ken Gray, Head Of Programming & MD of IMC shortly after signing Annie.

Latin Dance Fitness is becoming more and more popular around the world and is being taken up by swathes of motivated audiences and this workout will appeal to a large diverse audience in most territories. SPICY FITNESS TURNS UP THE HEAT THIS SUMMER

Mel B (Melanie Brown) of the super group Spice Girls is now part of the IMC stable of artists with a spanking gorgeous programme called Mel B Totally Fit. It is a comprehensive 100 minutes of fun and funky routines including two cardio sections, targeted sections for legs bums and tums and also has additional sections on nutrition. Being Warner Music content, there is no question that production quality was taken care of with a swanky LA villa backdrop with a panoramic pool deck, this programme has been released in the UK to rave reviews including “Fun & easy to follow – 10/10” said the Daily Mail whilst the Daily Star said “Now this is how to make a fitness DVD”.

Katrina Murray, Exec Prod, Warner Music says “We have known the guys at IMC for a long time, we know their efficiency and professionalism but most of all, everyone knows IMC for their profile as a special interest and fitness distributor and it was a no brainer to get them on board with Mel B’s programme”.

“We have long taken the stance of professional fitness instructors,” says Ken Gray, MD, IMC Vision, “but it is obvious that Mel takes her fitness very seriously indeed – getting back her pre baby shape seemed to have been plain sailing for her and her celebrity has stood the test of time especially with the Spice Girls reforming for their tour last year – we are really pleased to have Mel on board and I have no doubt that our clients will rally round this programme”

A few exclusive pre-views have taken place already and it is expected that Australia, Japan and Scandinavia will be the first of many licenses to be completed with Australia looking for a Mother’s Day 2010 release. All rights are exclusively available through IMC Vision except DVD rights for USA, UK & Eire. Click here for more information and on line screeners now or email international@imcvision.com

Totally Fit. Totally Mel B. Totally Fantastic!

WHEN BEAUTY MET THE BEASTS

Meet Karina Holmes, the ultimate city girl and top UK Model. Her inviting blue eyes are inset into a face that has graced the covers of UK glossy mags: Front, Loaded, Zoo, Nuts and many more. To be fair, it has earned Karina a good living; she drives a Porsche, enjoys the champagne lifestyle and is the life and soul of a party.

But now she wants to exchange the high life for wildlife in a brand new series from the producers of Animal Planet UK's "The Big Five Challenge" and "Bundoo Boyz", Godunnit Promotions.

"They say that you have a [short] shelf life in modelling" says Karina "and I want to do something more rewarding and meaningful". Which is probably why, a few months ago, she spent two months on safari pushing her insurance policy to the limit! "Originally I wanted to do fashion [TV]" admits Karina, but she chose animals and danger over Armani and Dior. "I have always been interested in wildlife and animales so the opportunity to do a safari programme was perfect" says Karina.

Little did Karina know that what the producers had planned for her was not the lush pampering of a boutique lodge...

Sleeping many a night in tents with only a thin sheet of canvas between her and the most dangerous animals in the world, Karina was certainly out of her comfort zone! By the time Karina was getting used to this new lifestyle, she had been 'horned' by an elephant, seen two black mamba snakes fighting, walked accross the top of the mighty Victoria Falls, charged at by a lion... not once. Not twice. But four times!

And all of this was caught on tape!

"The guide with me had a gun" says Karina, shuddering at the thought, "but I knew that by the time he'd got a hand on it, the lion would have had an arm or a leg!"

Despite the excitement and danger, Karina was also amazed and awed by the natural beauty of Southern Africa. "Filming this series has changed my life" says Karina. "It has really opened my eyes to a new world where there is no rehearsal, no stage and every single move you make, really is a matter of life and death."
